Article Writers Network is for all article writers who want to
promote their work and themselves, and to provide a platform for
sharing and discussing ideas and knowledge, in fact anything
related to article writing.
Profile
Most online writers know that a profile is an important part of presenting yourself as a serious article writer, and this should be kept in mind when making use of this feature. Your profile will tell the world about you as a writer, and can include pictures as well as other media. You can also add links to websites, as well as other profiles you may have elsewhere.
Article Links
Writers also know how important backlinks are in the placement of articles in search engines, and helping with this is a central part of Article Writers Network. To add a link to your articles, create a group for the subject area if it doesn't already exist, and include a text box for the page. Then simply insert your links into the text box. Search engines do not like lists of links so it is much better to include the link in a meaningful description of the article. There are examples already in groups to follow.
Once you have created a group for your link, you can also add the same link to your profile, and so get two links for the price of one! Alternatively write a blog entry and include a link to the article. If you do this make it worth reading and a reasonable length. This is not something you can cut corners on because you'll know if you are short changing your readers!
Members Websites and Blogs
If you have a website you can also create a group to add links to your webpages so long as they are relevant to you as a writer. You can also create a group for your blog and use it to add links to your entries in the same way.
Other Groups
There are also groups to add links to the profile of your favourite writers, or to their articles. In fact you can form a group for anything you feel will be relevant to you and other members.
